By using the services of AJS Slashing or accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
AJS Slashing provides professional tree services including tree removal, tree pruning, tree shaping, trimming dead knot, and stump grinding for residential and commercial properties in Edmonton and surrounding areas.
We provide free, no-obligation estimates for all tree work. Estimates are based on our assessment of the job at the time of quoting. Final pricing may vary if actual conditions differ significantly from what was visible during the initial assessment (e.g., hidden decay, underground obstacles for stump grinding). Any changes to pricing will be communicated and approved before additional work is performed.
We strive to meet all scheduled appointments. However, we may need to reschedule due to severe weather conditions, equipment issues, or emergency service calls. We will provide as much notice as possible if rescheduling is necessary.
By hiring AJS Slashing, you grant us permission to access your property to perform the agreed-upon tree services. You are responsible for informing us of any underground utilities, irrigation systems, or other buried infrastructure in the work area. We carry $2 million in liability insurance and WCB coverage for all workers.
Payment terms will be specified at the time of quoting. For larger projects, a deposit may be required before work begins, with the balance due upon completion. Accepted payment methods will be discussed during the quoting process.
We stand behind our work. If you have concerns about the quality of work performed, please contact us within 48 hours of service completion so we can address any issues promptly.
While we carry comprehensive insurance and take every precaution, our liability is limited to the cost of services provided. We are not liable for pre-existing conditions of trees or property, natural events following service, or damage resulting from inaccurate information provided about the work site.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a booked service, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee.
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
